The fully assembled Nixie PCB. On the top left the step-up converter which generates the anode voltage can be seen. The binary-to-decimal decoder ICs for each tube are placed directly under the tube. The ATtiny84 MCU and the ISP-Header for programming are placed on the bottom right side of the board. The other ICs are serial in-parallel out shift registers which contain the data which is shown on the tubes. The second PCB is a DCF77 receiver which receives the time signal from a sender in Frankfurt, Germany.
